Closet cravings: seasonal change
Hi Y’all!
Since my previous closet craving posts, I have aquired a few pieces here and there. You can check it out here.
That being said, It does not stop me from wanting a few pieces that I hope will bring me joy this season. I am saying this season, because I am hoping for this heat to leave and for the cold to arrive. Sadly, the local meteorlogy agency has just announced that the heat will stay until the end of 2025.
Classic slacks
I adore pants. I live in them. They are just so practical and go with everything, even dresses. Since Covid, I realized that I have slowly been purchasing wide legged pants for maximum confort. Now my closet is full of them. And as much as I like them, I am missing the structured pants, with button and zipper, and/ or slim ankle. I started looking for them in basic colors like black, grey and brown.
Red shoes
While cleaning my shoes, I have noticed that I am missing a red pair. I actually do own a pair of red mules but they are high and printed. I only wear them on special occasions. I also have red and green leather sandals that I regularly wear to run errands. I would like a pair of pointed toe, red patent leather sandals. I could settle for a kitten heel sling back or a suede mule. I just want an elegant pair that I can wear every day.
Vanity bag
Frankly, I have no business buying a bag. I have plenty and some I barely use. But I have been dying to own a vanity bag. I already have a few at home I use for travelling or to store my beauty products. The ones I am craving are made to be worn outside. I would love to have one in a basic color and in leather so I can wear it for years. But I already have bags in basic browns, black, white, beige and gold. What fun colors do you recommend I get this vanity bag in?

White eyeliner
I am not into make up. I just want to have the basics that will make it easier for me to create simple looks. Recently I saw a reel of a make up artist /influencer applying white eyeliner inside the lid of his lower eye to make his eyes look bigger. I was blown away. I usually apply Kajol on my eyelid for that mysterious look. But they tend to make my eyes look smaller (they are already small). I have to get myself a white eyeliner just to try the look.
Cotton striped pyjamas
As I mentioned in a previous post, I am obsessed with matching pyjama sets. I have been eyeing a set in stripped blue and white cotton. I can either go buy it at the shop where I saw them, or ask my tailor to make me one in order to control the quality and the ease to wear. I want something that can transition from Summer to colder months.
